Don't Look At Me That Way......

Morning.

I'm here to share the Father's Day cards I made for the boys to give Andy.  My friend said that they were brilliant and I had captured both boys perfectly.  I think that's it now, I'll never be able to top that.  Bought cards from now on!!

Oops

Hello.

Are you basking in the heat or are you just a little on the warm side? This is so unusual for Scotland!!

So yesterday was Father's Day but I completely ran out of time to do cards for Andy so I had to buy some. Oops. However, I did make one for an order for someone....

This Is Not The Card You Are Looking For

Hello.

Well, it's been a wet start to the school holidays here in Scotland, think it's been raining since the kids stopped at 1pm on Friday!

Just trying to clear out my folder of cards, so I thought before I moved on to the end of term stuff I'd finish Father's Day although I have another card to go after this.

This is the second of the two cards I made for a friend.

Father's Day - Part 2

So like all good films, there is a sequel to Father's Day.... and there might be more than one card to follow!

My friend asked me to make a Father's Day card for her son but I didn't want to leave his sister out and although she's nearly 12 I thought this image was brilliant as she's a Daddy's girl! I must admit if I'd been making a card for my own Dad I'd have used this image too!!

Father's Day

Good morning!

Well this is the first post I've done for ages that hasn't been a DT challenge card. However, Andy and the boys went out last night for a wee while so I had the evening free and it was lovely just messing about so I decided to schedule a wee blog post.

This is one of the cards I've made for the boys to give Andy. This is the one from Craig. I've used the Harry and Beer image from Digi Stamp Boutique. The sentiment is also from DSB.

Just Resting My Eyes

Morning.

That's something my Mum and Dad used to say all the time when they were snoozing in the armchair! I shared this card today as I thought he might have been watching the TV from yesterday and it's sent him to sleep.

This, as you can see, is another Father's Day card. And another of the ones I made for a friend.

Another couple of Father's Day cards tonight. This time variations on a theme using this fabby Docrafts crossword stamp.

Catching Up

Hello!

I hate this part of a holiday. The part where you come back from glorious weather with 2938923 loads of washing and it's chucking it down at home so you can't dry the aforementioned loads of washing.

Back to work tomorrow for me although Andy has another week off - we've had to split the childcare this year, but the good news is that the boys and I are off for another wee break in a couple of weeks :)

So, to today's card which is one of the many Father's Day cards I made this year (7 in total) this one was for my friend's son to give his Dad.

You'll see this image appear again (although not teamed with a panda!). The background is embossing paste with a brick wall stencil.

The Final Roundup.... part 2!

Morning!

After finding the last of the Father's Day cards yesterday, this is the last of the samples I made for Craft World!

It's just a wee 4x4 cross over card which I used some Kaisercraft paper with and I cut the Thanks from the Shade Tree Thanks die twice so that I could offset the kraft thanks on top of the black one.

And Another Father's Day Card

Hello

It's almost the last one but I can't share the last of them till the weekend - they're a bit like buses eh? Don't get one for years and then about 27 turn up all at once.

This is the Father's Day card I made for Scott to give to Andy and you'll note that I've given him a Barca hat but coloured in the letters for Hibs....  This is one of the Saturated Canary Dad 2014 images - the other one being a girl but not a whole lot of use in this house!

A Feast of Father's Day Cards

Morning.

Well it's Father's Day and it's a day where I have usually sat back having made only one card (and sometimes not even that as the boys decide they want to buy one for Andy). However, this year having been asked to demo at Craft World I made lots of Father's Day cards as samples, my friend asked me to make cards for her kids to give their Dad and I also made one each for the boys to give Andy.

So I'm starting with the samples I did for Craft World and as the week goes on I shall show you the rest of them - this could be men's week on my blog!

All supplies from Craft World unless otherwise stated.

Ready Teddy Go

Well you will be pleased to know that I did tidy the table last night - there is now plenty space to work on and I did do some work this afternoon. I organised things too so might find it slightly easier to work. Or not. I may never find anything again.

And I was about to go to bed when I got a message from a friend about half price school shoes but the offer was to finish at 6am this morning... so I had to log back on to the laptop and just check it out. Bought Clarks shoes for the boys half price - fingers crossed that they actually fit them!

So today I am sharing with you a card I was commissioned to make. It was for a friend's daughters to give to their Celtic mad Dad. I was asked for a card with a Celtic shirt and a #7 on it.... I panicked slightly and then I remembered this wee cutie from LotV!

No new products were harmed in the making of this card! Use It Up 2012.
