A Feast of Father's Day Cards

Morning.

Well it's Father's Day and it's a day where I have usually sat back having made only one card (and sometimes not even that as the boys decide they want to buy one for Andy). However, this year having been asked to demo at Craft World I made lots of Father's Day cards as samples, my friend asked me to make cards for her kids to give their Dad and I also made one each for the boys to give Andy.

So I'm starting with the samples I did for Craft World and as the week goes on I shall show you the rest of them - this could be men's week on my blog!

The Pancake Batter Anomaly

Morning.

I am still alive, honest. Although to be honest, it doesn't really feel like it right now. STILL suffering from this cold/sinus infection. This is my last day of antibiotics and I think the most I can say is that I feel slightly less crap than I did this time last week :/ but if we could get Sheldon to sing Soft Kitty I think I'd feel so much better. Maybe.

So, in my continuing mission to share all the cards that have been in the folder for months this is the thank you card I made for one of Scott's teachers last year.  I will share all these cards by the end of the year.... if it ends in more than 78 days.... #oops #fail

First Week Blues

Morning all.

Well we've all survived the first "week" back at school. We'll see how a whole five days go next week ;)

My friend's wee girl was starting school on Wednesday and she asked me to make a card for her so this is what I came up with. I used Digi Stamp Boutique's Off to School Rosie. I was a bit stuck for papers cos I stupidly asked what colour Lucy's school bag and lunch bag were - yes, you guessed it - they're pink! However there wasn't that much to colour and I think I got away with it by using these papers from my scrap box.
