Oh Deer

Hello.

This card has been a long time in the making - I was inspired by the papers to make a sort of retro Christmas card to join in with Fezziwigs but couldn't quite find the right image so that challenge went by, then I was going to use them for another challenge and that whooshed by too.

The theme this time is Oh Deer and this is the last day so I'm rushing to post this before this challenge passes me by too.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello.

It's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.  

 Our theme this time is No Squares.

Goodness what a challenge this one was for me! And do you know why? Because I started thinking about it.  I find if I don't think about things then inspiration will strike.  I made a card on Thursday and it went in the bin (although I later relented and changed it a bit) and then I made another when I came home from work on Friday! 

This is the one which was rescued from the bin.

I made this card a few weeks ago and used the bubble wrap from the inside of a padded envelope to create the background on my gelli plate.  Also used calico to stamp the sentiment on.

Unusual Timing.....

I've got another card to share from the new release at Whimsy  .  Now this wee Meljens gnome has long been a favourite of mine but I've never been able to get him since Meljens disappeared so I was absolutely delighted when he appeared from the vaults!  

So today, on Easter Saturday (which I think might be called Low Saturday) which also happens to be my birthday I'm sharing a Christmas card.  You're welcome!
