Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is
Hallowe'en

Our sponsor this week are Crafty Devils who are offering a £15 voucher to the winner.

I was going to sit this one out but then I was clearing out and found this wee image - I think he was originally Pollycraft but can probably now be found on Little Miss Muffet stamps. Rather than make a card I actually decided just to fashion a pumpkin for him.

Where Did That Week Go?

Hello.

Well, in a whoosh, the October school week is over in a flash - this is the last holiday before Christmas and I'm sure that time will now just fly by between now and then. So really, I should be getting on with Christmas cards :/

This is a wedding card I was asked to make for a wedding last week. I used The One stamp from Visible Image and have also used the sentiment from the Wedding Day set for the inside of the card.

Poor Little Nameless Blog Post

Hello.

Just a quick post tonight. Loads to do!

This is a birthday card I made for my friend to give her wee girl - so that's two cards down, one still to show you.

I've used the lovely Maddie Shy Curls from Polka Doodles and I've paper pieced her top and hat. I'd quite like to have paper pieced her trousers too but I didn't have enough black card!

Moving Along With The Times Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With the Times.

This week our theme (picked by me) is

Doggone It
(or any animal, as long as it's the main feature on the card)

This is the card I made for Scott to give Andy. Scott loves monkeys and Hibs, so it's a monkey in a Hibs top ;)

Handstands!

Morning all.

Hope you're all well. I think Autumn/Winter definitely arrived yesterday! What rain we had.

This is a card I made for Scott to give his friend - I had already made two cards for Eve from her Mum and Dad and one from her sister - which I will share in due course. In a bizarre moment of craziness I almost made a card for Craig to give her too but then decided I'd just go with this one from them both.

I can't decide if the boy in the card is being helpful to his friend or shaking the money out of her pockets........

Give Us A Song

Hello.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend wherever you are. It's a bit dreich here but a good day was had yesterday at the Junior Great Scottish Run. Craig did it in 15:49 and Scott in 13:43 (although Craig actually came in before Scott as he was in the older age category). The boys are well chuffed. As are we.

On to today's card. This was a commission not from one of the friends I make cards for, but from her daughter for her pal! I found this SC image which I thought was perfect for a teenage girl and dug out some old First Edition papers - Boho Chic. I had forgotten how much I love Autumnal colours (and these papers)

Song - Saturated Canary
Sentiments - Paper Smooches

Paper - First Edition Boho Chic

And finally I can't go without sharing a couple of photos from yesterday - the first, my boys!

And second of the great Haille Gabresellaise who started the race yesterday - he's running himself in the Great Scottish Run today. Yes, I was this close to him!!

 Thanks for dropping by today.
