I Can't Bear It....

Morning.

Monday again. 5 weeks today and it will be Christmas day...... I should really do something about getting organised!

Speaking of organised..... one of these cards is almost a year old - and the other isn't that far behind it. These were made for a girl leaving work and then for the baby she had a few weeks later.

The wee bear was cut on the SNC - isn't he cute!

Bear - Cut on SNC
Pitter Patter - Sue Wilson
Circle Nestabilities - Spellbinders
Buttons - MFT
Stitched Rectangles MFT
Safety Pin - Sweet Pea

And this baby card is a replica of the one I made for Jackie's first son, but she never got the card (long story but not my fault!) so I thought I'd use the design again.

Passing Out

Morning.

Is it a bit chilly where you are? There's been a noticable drop in temperature!

Today's card is one I was asked to make for recently for someone passing out of the army.  I've cut the soldier using the SNC and googled for the picture of his regiment!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and it's a special one as it's our birthday! We're 8 years old today. Happy birthday to us!

This week our theme (not surprisingly) is

Birthdays

This is the birthday card I made a couple of months ago for the lovely Cass!  I even used my favourite SU paper for this, it was, after all a very special occassion.

Music In World Off

Morning

Continuing the Spring Clean! A couple of cards done with Brushos today, so much fun to be had in that little pot.

I've used Visible Image stamps for both cards. I love playing with the Brushos and haven't done for ages so will need to do it soon but have so many other things that need doing first!

Let's Raise a Glass

Morning.

A fairly recent card today but I'm sharing it today, not for the recipient of the card, but for my late FiL who's birthday it would have been today.

A wee dram especially for him!

A Load of Balls

Morning.

Today's cards is one I made for the Boss! I found the idea on Pinterest - although as far as I remember there was no sentiment about birthdays being a load of balls....

I embossed some card using Swiss Dots and then cut circles. Made the pot and printed a golf score card. An old Quickutz Golf Tee die came to my rescue for the front of the card just to have something to go with the sentiment.

For The Fallen

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is

Babies

I didn't have any baby cards to make when I set out to make my DT card for this challenge, so I decided I'd go for Baby's First Christmas rather than a Congratulations card.  And then, wouldn't you know it.... my friend asked me to make a baby boy card! So rather than choose one I decided to share both.

Christmas at Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello again! Please scroll down if you're looking for my FabNFunky card.

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas At Sweet Stampin'

As always it's Anything Christmas Goes

A few weeks ago I went to a Crafters Bootsale - it's just like a normal car boot sale but it's for folk who are destashing.... and yeah, I could probably do with a table but that's another matter! Anyway, the stamp I used here is one of my purchases on the day.

We're sponsored by Whoopsi Daisy for this challenge.
