Visible Image DT Card

Morning all.

Here I am with my new Monday slot for Visible Image (I've changed from Wednesday!)

So today I'm sharing a card made using a few Visible Image stamps - Immortal Love set, Grunge Flourish and Ink Splats. Yes, you read that right, ink splats! I liked the effect on the card so I ran with it! I stamped the roses from the Immortal Love set on some red card and then cut them out.  I stamped the Grunge Flourish on the card blank - it was so easy to line up and I stamped two back to back! I added Love and Is Forever as the sentiments. I decided to add the ink splats in red ink too!

For more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image Facebook Group, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.

Visible Image DT Card

Today for Visible Image I want to show you a card I made using the fabulous Max Rocks Stamp Set. I've coloured Max in using my pens and I've stamped the border from Jake Skates set around the cardstock and the DP.  I used Awesome Dude from Jake and You Rock from Max - don't they go well together. And to finish I did a wee bit of shrink plasticking (is that a word) on one of the chains from the Max set. I need to some more shrink plasticking again soon, I had so much fun!

For more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image Facebook Group, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.

Love to Create Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Love to Create

This week our theme is

Button it Up

Our sponsor this week is Stamp Art By Kathryne who were kind enough to give the DT some images to play with.

I've used Little Bear Love You for my card but got to be honest, I'm disturbed that I didn't notice it said Luv U on his tshirt as I'm a bit of a spelling and grammar freak!

I decided to just go with a CAS card because I found the little heart button and it sort of stemmed from there.  I made the card last week at The Crafty Cabin and I meant to take a wee Stampin' Up stamp I have which just has XOXOXO on it which I thought was perfect for the card. However, I stupidly forgot to take it with me so I ended up just using a Love stamp!

Fashion!

Morning all, it's the weekend!

I am hoping to get some crafting done this weekend - loads to do and have a few ideas floating round.

Scott is playing football this morning and Andy is off to the football this afternoon so I've got a plan to take the kids out somewhere (or I could just let them play computer games and I'll craft.....)

Anyway, this morning's card is a birthday card my friend asked me to do for her daughter whose birthday it is today - how organised is that. I'm actually sharing a card on the day it's needed!

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With the Times.

This week our theme is

A Card for A Female
(shudders) - and you'll be shuddering even more when you see it......

Yep, it's ****! My friend asked me to make a 1st birthday card for her friend's wee girl and sadly the little girl likes ****.

Now I would normally go with the LotV baby with the blanket but I fancied a change so I had a wee look on the Mo Manning site and found this wee cutie, she's called Luv Ya. And as luck would have it Mo had a sale on last weekend so I bought another couple of images too.

I used a Versamark ink pad to stamp some snowflakes all over the card blank, I'd forgotten how much I like that effect, it's a pity I'm not making any more Christmas cards until December (only joking if you're looking in Abi!)

Hobbycutz Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Hobbycutz

This week our theme is

Something New
(new baby, new year, new home etc)

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments.

I've gone for New Stash... well, new toy (my GC) and these Grand Nestie Ovals.

I've used a LotV stamp as the focal point but I used a Majestix stamp set to stamp round the edge of the Nestie. A couple of Hobbycutz butterflies finish off the card. I think looking at it now I should perhaps have painted the butterflies but I love Kobie's stuff too much to mess around with it :/

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is one of my very favourite challenges.....

Girly But NO Pink

Love it :D

Our sponsor this week The Ribbon Girl and our monthly sponsor is Cuddly Buddly who are offering a £10 voucher to the monthly winner.

I decided to go with blues for my card because when I was in the craft shop recently I spotted the Papermania Parissiene Blue Capsule collection and thought these papers were gorgeous. And I bought the lace paper (she's sitting on it!) and I also bought some of the crochet trim but that didn't quite fit on the card so I left that off!

I've made this for my sister in law whose birthday we missed in December #oops.

Hello again!

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas At Sweet Stampin'

This month our theme is

Festive Foliage

Our sponsor this month is Stamp Art by Kathryne (and I'll be back mid month with a card using one of Kathryne's images).

Today's card uses a Eureka Stamps image which I simply printed off and used glamour dust on it - not sure whether you can actually see it! I actually wish I'd made more of this card cos it was really simple but quite effective.

Visible Image DT Card

Morning all.

Here I am with my new Wednesday slot for Visible Image

And today I'm sharing a card using Thanks So Much. I did originally set out to make a different card but I'm afraid the house is still in complete uproar after Christmas and I couldn't get to most of my craft stuff so I've gone for something simple that showcases the beauty of the stamp.

I found this wonderfully elegant paper in my stash box and with the stamp the card grew from there. I've used an oval nestie to cut it out and a floral oval for the frame. I think it could probably have done with black pearls rather than white but I had neither black pearls nor a black copic to colour white ones with so I had to make do. Now to find someone to send this too!

For more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image Facebook Group, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.
