Happy Hanukkah

Hello. 

A quick and easy card today - I've used the Hanukkah set from Whimsy for the card and changed the colour to blue before I printed it.  It's funny, I used to work with a Jewish man who gave us Hanukkah cards every year and I don't think I ever made him one, but now that I don't work with him any more I've made a card and have no way of getting it to him!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello.

It's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and it's a special one this week!  It's our birthday!!! Our 12th birthday.  I have been honoured to be part of this lovely team for the last 10 years and I can't believe where that time has gone.

I was hoping to recreated the card I made for the first birthday theme I was part of but I can't find the digi image so you can have this one instead which is an elephant on a swing.  As you do.

Little Bear, Little Tree

Hello. 

I've gone for an older Whimsy image to share today.  This is Crissy Armstrong's Polar Bear's Christmas Tree.  Bless him, he's got more tinsel than tree! The sentiment is an old Whimsy rubber stamp sadly not available now.  I've used the star stencil and some embossing paste for the background.  I loved doing this - it's really as a result of just playing around, so I must try it again soon.
