That Craft Place Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at That Craft Place

This time our theme is

Alter It

Here's what I've done.. and I'm really, really sorry that I forgot to take a before photo, but Lisa has a fabby range of alterables in the shop so I'm sure you could see a before shot if you go to the Facebook group for That Craft Place.

I followed Cathy's tut on That Craft Place Inspiration Blog which you can find here so I inked the tissue paper using the Pirate stamp set and let it dry before tearing it and adhering it to the treasure box and inking again with the Vintage Photo.

I found the printable pirate map somewhere, but unfortunately can't remember where I got it from. I printed it on parchment paper and distressed it with some strong, cold tea (without the milk obviously) and then rolled it up and scrunched it to get a kinda distressed look about it!

I am quite pleased with it. It's the first time I've attempted something like this but I feel sure it won't be the last.
