A Card For Sophie

Afternoon from a very shivery Glasgow. I am absolutely freezing. Thinking about putting my pjs on and getting under the duvet!

I have been busy all morning and I'm relaxing before the boys come in from school so I thought come and post a card on my blog! When I was visiting blogs on Saturday I came across my friend Kerry's post on her blog over at Ladybug Crafts - the title of the post was A card for Sophie and I read on....

Sophie is the daughter of one of Kerry's friends. She's just 18 and has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Kerry wanted to make a card to encourage Sophie through the months ahead and encouraged others to do the same. You will notice that I've put a wee link in my sidebar too.

I made this card a few weeks ago with a free digi that Krista did over at Saturated Canary but I wasn't very sure what do with her or who to give her too. When I read Kerry's post I emailed her straight away and offered her this card which I delivered to Kerry yesterday when I met her for coffee.

Please please would you consider making a card to send to Sophie? You can find details of Kerry's email over on her blog

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday
Dream Valley Challenges - For A Special Lady
Incy Wincy - Mother's Day or Girly
Cutie Pie - Monochromatic

Image - Boobielicious, Saturated Canary, coloured with Copics, Not sure where sentiment is from
Cardstock/Paper - from stash
Embellishments - Pink ribbon, gem brad from stash
Tools - Oval Nestie, Oval Punch, Stampin Up

Thanks for dropping by today. Hugs. Susan xxx

Hi Susan, gorgeous card - love that image - but a sad reason for having made it.

I've just left a comment for Kerry (and emailed) to let her know I'd make a card as well.
