Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen the theme

Anything Christmassy but a Card

We're sponsored this week by Alota Rubber Stamps and Doodle Dragon Studios.

I've made a decoration - it came from a kit that I bought years ago and I discovered it when I was looking for something else. There are three on the page and can be used as photo ornaments. Each decoration consists of 6 3"x3" squares which are scored diagonally across each corner. It's just a case of putting tape on them, sticking a bit of ribbon through the one for the top and you're done. Now if that's *that* simple, why did I not do it before now?!

You never know at this rate I might get those beaded snowflakes made. Sometime before Christmas 2015.

 Thanks for dropping by today.

Remember to drop by Totally Papercrafts and see what the rest of my lovely Teamies have been up to! And this is a very sad post for me as it's my last with Totally Papercrafts. I've had an absolute blast while I've been there and made some fabulous friends but the time is right to go now.

This week it's the turn of the lovely Alexandra to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Add a Bow

We're sponsored this week by Lili of the Valley and the Ribbon Girl.

Oh look it's that couple again... we've not seen them for a while! And it's been so long since I made the card I can't actually remember who I made it for!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Catherine to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Use Glitter

We're sponsored this week by Delicious Doodles.

You can't actually see the glitter from the photo but I assure you it's there. I used the lines on the paper and went over them with a glue pen and glamour dusted them. A very quick and simple card. Now if only I had more of this paper I'd be making more of these cards but alas it was out of the scrapbox so this is it!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen the theme

No Squares Allowed.

We're sponsored this week by Squigglefly.

Now I was full of lots of grand plans for this card (which I might still use so not telling what they were!) but I was at the SECC for the craft fair yesterday and by the time I left just after 2 I still hadn't actually made a card! So I came home with the intention of getting a card made before Craig got back from school as Scott goes to afterschool today. However, just as I had made myself a cup of tea the phone rang and it was the school saying that Scott wasn't well and could I go for him. They were worried cos he was crying and the girls in the office remarked that he must be unwell as he's not a child to make much of a fuss and they'd never seen a Moffatt boy up at the office unwell!

So I went for Scott, gave him some medicine and he settled down on the couch with a blanket and promptly fell asleep so I had my chance to get a card done! I used a new set of stamps I had bought from Inkylicious and as I have borrowed the lovely Sandra's circle Nesties I decided to make use of them and make a circle card.

I cut two circles (and scored the back one to enable the card to stand). I stamped round the edge with the wee wishy* stamp and used the big wishy image which I stamped first and then stamped again without reinking and then stamped the sentiment on the side. Simples!

*yes, I know that's not their real name but that's what they're called here!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen the theme

1 Image, 2 Papers, 3 Embellishments

We're sponsored this week by Saturated Canary and Krista gave the DT some images to play with.

I've used Muriel for my card. I must admit although I set this challenge, it was  a real challenge to me. I wanted to stick so much more on the card but I decided to go with the die cuts as my embellishments!

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Suzette to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Stitching on Card
(real or faux)

We're sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments.

I've used Henry Why Not for my card. I just love him (although I think he looks more like a Scott in this case....) and this is another one of those images that made me laugh while I was colouring him in. For no other reason than I thought he had a Scott look about him!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen the theme

Birthday Boys
(it seemed appropriate as we had a birthday boy in the house this week)

We're sponsored this week by Dustin Pike and Stamp and Create.

And as luck would have it the card I have to share with you today is the one of the birthday cards I made for Andy! See, I told you this wasn't just thrown together....

Like yesterday's card this is one of the Vintage Boys Art Pad from LotV - and the main reason I wanted it but there are only so many golf cards I can make for Andy....

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Carol to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Decoupage

We're sponsored this week by Bearly Mine Designs.

A very simple card from me today - now those of you who have been paying attention will know that there are two things I don't particularly like in crafting.... I've found a third! Am not keen on decoupage, actually I never was and I never use it but that's why this is a challenge. I cheated a bit and went for a Gorjuss Girl decoupage kit! As soon as the card was made I packaged it up and sent it down to Lisa at That Craft Place so if you're ever down in Eastbourne you might see it there!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of our lovely Suzette to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Use Your Favourite Colours

We're sponsored this week by Kenny K.

So are these my favourite colours.... I dunno but they were my favourite at the time I made the card so I hope that counts ;)

I wanted to do a fairly simple Christmas card and I think this is one. It's not particularly flat for posting though so I might need to put the bow under a heavy book or something!

I stamped Santa in his sleigh on the panel in Crumb Cake before stamping the Twas the Night Before Christmas sentiment in Early Espresso.

I used the snowflake embossing folder and the swiss dots embossing folder and covered the join with a bit of red gingham ribbon and added a bow! Voila. Very simple card.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts. This week it's my turn to set the challenge and I've chosen

Inspired by A Song

Please tell us in your entry which song you were inspired by too!

We're sponsored this week by Alota Rubber Stamps and Dustin Pike.

This was a moving home card I was asked to make ages ago and I thought it was appropriate to share today - my song is You're Moving Out Today by Carole Bayer Sager which I heard for the first time in years recently!

A very simple card but I love it!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts. This week it's the turn of the lovely Alexandra to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Make Your Own Flowers

We're sponsored this week by Doodle Dragon Studios.

Now I did something for this card that I haven't done for a long long time! I got out some of my Hello Kitty Sizzix dies - this was a card I wanted to do for the boys to give my friend's wee girl. I had made cards for her mum and dad and sister to give her but I wanted to do one for the boys to give her too.

And the reasoning behind getting out the Sizzix die..... I don't have the Copics to enable me to colour another image with the red hair that I would need to do for Lucy ;)

And I can confirm that all cards went down very well with the birthday girl.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Carol to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Flowers and Bows

We're sponsored this week by Lili of the Valley and Sassy Studio.

I've gone for something a little different for my card... Yes, I could have gone down the girly ribbons and and flowers route and I kind of did but not with an image! I found this Bingo card online somewhere - I think through Pinterest but can't remember the actual site after that so can't credit or thank the contributor!

Other than that, fairy simple card and yes, there is the teeniest bit of that colour but I couldn't work out how to change the Bingo picture ;)

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Annie to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Use More Than 3 Different Punches or Dies
and yes, we will be counting!!

We're sponsored this week by Meljen's Designs.

Now, I hope you're sitting down - just look at the colour of this card. Isn't it awful ;)

In my defence... I was asked to make a pink, girly first birthday card for a friend for her God-daughter.

I do love this little digi from Whimsy but she would be so much nicer in another colour. Any other colour. I even paper pieced her baby gro to minimise the amount of colouring I'd have to do.

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Kim to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Buttons

Now this is a very sad challenge at TPC because this is Kim's very last challenge with us as she is moving on to pastures new. I'm really going to miss her as will the rest of the team!

We're sponsored this week by Bearly Mine and The Ribbon Girl

And here is my, fairly simple card. I've used the swirl from the Stampin Up Baroque Motifs set to make it look like a tree and cut the hearts off the Precious Hearts die and replaced them with the buttons. Simples! And... can I let you into a wee secret.... the kraft paper... it's actually an old envelope I've  recycled/upcycled/whatever!

Morning all, it's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts

This week it's the turn of the lovely Wendy to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme

Flowers and Lace

We're sponsored this week by J&C Creations and Stamp Fairy.

Those of you who who've been here a while and know me well will know that flowers and lace just aren't my thing so this was a bit of a challenge for me!

This was a card I was asked to make by a friend for her friend who liked "pretty things" - that's almost as bad as telling me they like pink. However, I think I managed it! And the paper is peach... not you know what ;)

I used a Stampin' Up sentiment as the focal point, chucked some flowers, pearls and lace at the card and hey ho, Bob's your uncle (well, he was, in fact, my Dad but that's neither here nor there)

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello! This week's theme for  Sweet Stampin'   is Use Die Cuts.  Now this is one time I've been organised for ages and have not ...
