Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is

Summer Brights

Now normally around this time of year after the schools have stopped it would be raining. A lot. But this year it's sunny and it has more or less for weeks! This is a card I made earlier on in the year but I had to use bright colours and I thought it would be perfect for the challenge (well, not that perfect cos there is ****) in it. I was going to make another one last night to cover up this atrocity but discovered that the gig I thought was Saturday was actually Friday. So no extra card (yet).

Time For Tea Designs New Release

Hello again.

I'm back with my Time for Tea card and there's some releases in the store! Three new collections for you to choose from - or have them all! I've used Milkshake and Iced Coffee Collection for my card.

I am particularly pleased with my swirly top of the shake, just like you'd get in Costa (other coffee shops are available....)

Summer of Sport

Started on Thursday for me - it's the World Cup. I love the World Cup and try to watch as many games as possible. There have been 4 so far and I have seen all for (or at least bits of the 2nd one as I was at work and had it minimised in the background!)

So my card today is a football themed one - bet you're suprised eh?! Football Al is playing for Brazil, the team that Scott has tipped to win.... and he's wearing Couthino's boots and is kicking a World Cup football. I'm nothing if not thorough.

All I'm Dreamin' Of

Hello again.

I'm back with my Time for Tea card for today and today I have used Festival Girl. I'm sharing this one today as today at 5.20pm one of my favourite bands will take to the main stage at Download. They'll be followed by GnR, what an awesome few hours they would both be - never mind the rest of the Festival! You'll note I have paper pieced her wellies with cherry paper.

It's time for a new challenge at Time for Tea Designs. This month we're all about the celebrations and creations can be a celebration of anything you like.

My card celebrates friendship - this is a card I made for my friend because I love the conversations we have - they can be bizarre in the extreme but they always make us laugh. I've used Sisters for my card.
