Let's Hear It For The Boy

Morning, a wee Sunday earworm for you....

So it was a friend's big birthday through the week and his wife had arranged all manner of surprises - a video with lots of folk (some famous, some not so) and the music playing in the background was Let's Hear it For The Boy.

There was a surprise party on Friday (although it also contained a suprise gig by one of the birthday boy's favourites Findlay Napier). A good night was had by all.

And this is the card!

I Wish I Could Fly

So rather than a fairy or an aeroplane which is what I would normally use I've gone for a dragon.... well it has wings and it flies.....

This is a birthday card I made for a friend!

I've just use some distress inks to create a background and stamped some swirls and the sentiment in black. I stamped the stars using London Fog so they were a bit paler. The dragon is a Sweet Dixie die that Scott liked and asked me to buy....

Better Late Than Never

Hello.

For a short week that was quite a long one! 

So I meant to share this the other day but it went completely out of my head.  We went for Easter Sunday dinner to friends and I made an Easter card (late on Saturday night when I decided I needed to!)

I've used a Digi Stamp Boutique image and merged it with another DSB image (the sign, which I've paper pieced and typed in a sentiment).
