Windswept and Interesting.....

Morning all.

Not sure what the weather was like with you yesterday but here... it was back to winter. The wind and the rain howled and it was horrible! And yesterday was the first day back after the hols at athletics and the boys were supposed to be training outside... thankfully their trainer decided to leave it indoors for this week only. Although the law of sod prevailed and by 4pm the sun was shining (although it was still blowing a gale!). Never mind, there's always next week.

I decided to have a wee play yesterday (and it really was a wee play, I gave myself 45 minutes!).  The other day the lovely Fi posted a card she'd made using this fabby sketch from Sketch Saturday and I thought I might use it too. And then I got to thinking that I'd use Isabella and the papers that I'd use for her too and here we are. This must be the first time - ever - that I've thought about a card and it's actually ended up looking how I anticipated it would look! I am very pleased with this one :) Well, I say that but I was going to do her on a white card blank and doodle round the edges but when I was looking for card I discovered a very unloved stash of Stampin Up's Sahara Sand so I used that instead and then decided against the doodling.
