A Monster of A Card

Morning all.

What a lovely day it was yesterday.  We went to a fundraiser for Arthritis Care organised by the lovely Karen at the Burnhouse Manor Hotel where I won a prize in the raffle :) The kids had a ball on the bouncy assault course type thing. Apparently they had 25 races against each other and Scott won 23 of them.... competitive children... nah ;)

We decided as it was so lovely that rather than come home we'd have a wee trip down to Troon so we had a wee walk along the beach (it was a touch bracing but otherwise lovely) and had fish and chips before coming home.

And now today I'm off to Sincerely Yours in Edinburgh :) Think I'll need a weekend to recover from the weekend.

And on to today's card. This is the birthday card I made for Andy's brother whose birthday it was yesterday. I stupidly forgot to post it before Friday but surprisingly it was delivered yesterday!!

I went with the monster theme - thought it might remind Stuart of his nephews :/

I found the big button in my stash and thought it would be perfect to give the idea of a balloon.. maybe. Not so sure now I look at it again!

Hope you enjoyed the doughnuts, OH offered me bakewells today but reneged til tomorrow...hmm!

Anyway I digress...I love your card, I think the button works on it's own merit, doesn't need to disguise as a balloon!!

Not telling my wee girl you went to the beach, that is what she wants to do right now! Hope you had a good spend up at SY xx
