A bit late but....

Never mind.

I had fully intended to come back later on yesterday and share Andy's birthday card with you but I was out last night at a local country park with the Anchor Boys.  The boys had a fabulous time despite the rain and everyone of them caught something interesting.

Scott and I didn't get back in until just before 9.  I had my dinner and sat and watched this man win the US Open. Yes, I stupidly stayed up to watch the whole thing. And there were points during the match when I wished I hadn't but the 5th set was just tremendous and to watch him blow Djokovic away was just thrilling. I am so glad I did stayed up! (even if I am just a little bit slower than normal today) I was at one point keeping friends informed of the score but I think the last one fell asleep just after 1 and there was still a long way to go after that.

So this is the birthday card I made for Andy the other day. Bit of a change from the anniversary image I used! This doesn't look like me either though ;) you can get her from Redonkulous Designs. Isn't she just fab. Now if only I hadn't used her for a birthday card I could have done his Christmas card with this. Think he would notice the same image twice ;)

Susan this is just gorgeous. Love the colours and embellishments. All the elements work so well together. I saw this on MIM and just had to pop over to have a closer look. Very pleased for Murray as well. Wishing you a fab Tuesday.

As a self-appointed honorary Scot I am immensely proud and delighted that AM2 has won his first Grand Slam. As for AM1's card, it is fabulous and having met you, I can tell everyone in Blogland that the image is indeed you and you are just being modest. xx
