Bazinga

Morning all.

Hope wherever you are that you are enjoying some Spring like weather...It's been raining here for the last two days but as it's been the only rain for all of the boys's holiday I'm not going to complain!

A birthday card to share with you today for my friend who shares the same birthday as me. I couldn't think what to do for him this year but then I remembered I had the Dienamics TShirt and stamps set and I decided to try and make a set of Sheldon's tshirts.... Now, if you don't watch The Big Bang Theory that will make no sense to you and you'll just have to take my word for it!

Deb's Candy

Will Someone Turn the Heating Up

Morning.

A wee commissioned card to share with you this morning. I was asked to make an 18th birthday card for a girl who liked music. I was going to use the Simply Sassy Lost in Music image but then I happened upon this image from JadeDragonne and thought it was even better.

Kept the card quite simple... ish. Well, simple for me!

Crafty Sentiments Challenge

Morning all.

I don't know whether you will have noticed a new wee blinkie appearing on the sidebar but I've been picked as a guest designer for Crafty Sentiments. I'm so pleased to be part of the team and I'm looking forward to the next few months with them.

So anyway, for now, it's time for a new challenge and this week our theme is

I'm using one of the new releases which will be out tomorrow! He's called Billy Cricketer. Isn't he fab?

I almost made a birthday card for my Dad as this image reminded me of him - Mum and Dad loved cricket (never saw the fascination myself) and every time we were on holiday my Dad would be heard to utter the words "Want a cricket bat Susan". I shared this story with the boys a few years ago and now every time we're on holiday they ask me exactly the same question!

Love to Create Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Love to Create

I've used a Flat Friends image for my card - she's called Angel.

I've gone very simple for this card but I think it works.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

And here is my card. I was asked to make a card for one of the teachers at school who gets married next week. I had a sneaky look at the invitation which was Kraft card and had an RSVP label which was tied with red and white Baker's Twine so I tried to reflect all that in the card.

This digi image from Tiddly Inks has to be my most used stamp ever! I need to think of something else to do with it now ;)

Friday Fun

Morning!

Can't believe that the boys have been off for a week now, time is marching on.

Thank you to all my crafty friends for the beautiful birthday cards I've received, they're all on display in the living room and if I can get away with it I'll only take them down for Scott's birthday (1st June!!)

On to today's card. I treated myself to some Visible Image stamps as my birthday present from me to me and this is the first one I've used. This is Jake, isn't he cool? Scott wants this card! I suppose there is an 8 on it.....

I found this Basic Grey paper in the scrap box and thought if I cut along the waves it would suit a skateboarding dude.

Breakfast at Tiffany's?

Morning all.

Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday. I had a lovely day and got some lovely presents :) We also went out for dinner last night which was fab. I can't believe that's me 29... (again...)

My friend asked me to make a card for her friend's 40th birthday. Her exact words were "can it be pink".... so after I'd finished twitching I decided to use this rather wonderful Stamping Bella Audrey Loves Her Make Up stamp... (cos I figured I could do her using black and accessorizing with pink). You have no idea the trouble I had putting this together though. Well, if you've been with me a while, you've probably a fair idea! Anyhow, I *think* I'm pleased with it but I heard last night that the birthday girl liked it so that's all that matters :)

Just A (Birthday) Girl

Morning all.

Halfway through the first week of the Easter hols and there have been no casualties - must be doing something right!

I had some time to play yesterday as the boys were both out playing with their friends and Andy was away doing some birthday shopping :)

I had a birthday card a friend had ordered to finish off but I can't share that yet and once I'd finished I was about to put everything away (no, really, I was) when I decided to do something just for fun!

I decided I'd enter the Sugary Sunday challenge on Facebook this week which is dies and doodles and it went from there. I have paper pieced her dress using some self adhesive gingham paper I bought at the SECC when I was with Cathy (bought specifically for a Gorjuss girl) - there were 4 different colours of gingham on the one 12x12 sheet so this could feature again soon!
