Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is

Magic/Myth/Fantasy

Now this was actually Craig's birthday card from back in February and although I wanted to share then I thought I'd leave it for this challenge!

I loved making this wee faux book with Cass watching on the sidelines one (or twelve) crafty nights.

I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good

Hello!

How was your day yesterday? We had a very chilled Christmas and we're enjoying another chilled day today.

As promised the other day, I've come back to show you what I had lots of fun making this Christmas - a Harry Potter frame for Craig.

It's got everything in it - including wrapping paper and a golden snitch keyring from Primark and a twig from the garden to make a wand! I had intended using a chopstick to make the wand, but I lost it and didn't get a chance to get another. In any event, I actually like the twig with twine tied round it better.

Thanks for dropping by today.

Socks!

Morning.

Something a little different today - well, different in that it isn't a card.

This is a frame I made for Craig a wee while ago (and to my shame, it's still not hung in his room). He'd seen one just like this when we went to ComicCon and he asked if I could make him one so I went on a Google search for Dobby colouring pages!

Perhaps today is the day. I'm trying to tidy the house, while packing for our holidays (we're away Monday) so I might just find a wee space to hang this in his room!

Thanks for dropping by today.

I Solemnly Swear......

Morning!

Did you watch the Eurovision last night? It's always a strange affair but I think I preferred it when they sang in their own language and I had no clue what was going on!

On to today's cards. A couple of Harry Potter cards I made, one fairly recently and the other one back in February.

I used my SNC for this one and a Harry Potter cut file and I downloaded a Mauraders Map which I went over with some Vintage Photo DI.

This next one I used a colouring page of the Slytherin crest. I was originally going to do a card with just the crest but in the end decided to make it look like robes!

 Thanks for dropping by today.

After All This Time? Always.

Morning.

Isn't it cold?! Still, I'd rather have the cold than the pouring rain.

So today's card - which I put on last week as the card for today now takes on a different significance given the horrible week it's been. First of all David Bowie and then Alan Rickman, both particular favourites of mine, it's been a particularly sad week.

After the Harry Potter wedding card I was asked to make a birthday card, but this time with just Hermione and in a similar style to the wedding card. It's kind of the same but different.

Hello! This week's theme for Sweet Stampin'   is Anything But a Birthday.  What could be better than Snoopy, a cup of tea and a cook...
