A Day of Mixed Emotions

Hello!

A couple of things to share today which were made last night - yeah, I know, cutting things fine. AGAIN. Is it too late to make New Year's resolutions?!

So today at church was a service of celebrations and farewells. We celebrated the ordination of some new elders (one of whom was my friend Lynne) but it was also our minister's last service. We've had an interim minister for almost two years, leading us to the point of union with another church, the service for which will take place on Thursday evening.  So today's service was also Eleanor's last service with us so it was a very emotional service!

This is the card I made for Lynne to celebrate her ordination as an Elder. Very simple!

This next item is a collage of a wee book I made which the children wrote their memories of Eleanor for. It was lovely to see what they all wrote - I'm not sharing those as they're between each of the children and Eleanor.

I took a photo of the four of them and Eleanor today so the last page of the book will be completed on Thursday after the service.

Thanks for dropping by today.
