Morning all.
Well the peace will be shattered around dinner time tonight as the boys will be home 5ish. It's been very peaceful without them but I am looking forward to having them back!
So on to today's card. The head teacher of Scott's school has taken early retirement and her last day with the children was last Friday. As I'm on the Parent Council we decided that we'd have a wee collection for her and give her something at our last meeting which was on 31st March. Despite me knowing about this for ages it was the afternoon of 31st March I put this card together, it was all planned in my head but it took a while to move from my head to action!!
I decided that I'd paper piece her to save time. It didn't! I paper pieced the sofa, her blouse and her trousers, it seemed to take forever, although I'm sure it's all relative and it didn't really take that long.
