City Girl

Oooh it's a very long time (well, it feels like it anyway since I used a Sugar Nellie stamp) but I made this for an 18th birthday at the weekend.  I just couldn't decide what stamp to use and I had started colouring in another image while I was at the Crafty Cabin but it just wasn't working for me and Cass suggested using one of the Simply Sassy images and this one jumped out and hit me in the face and said "use me"... well, not quite but it did speak to me more than the original choice did!

I coloured her in with my pens and cut her out using one of the 5x7 Nesties, added some swirls and some bling and she was done. I was trying to get an 18 on there too but I think that would have been a step too far.

And it is a great image, you forget how great Sugar Nellie stamps are, don't you? (I think I should dig mine out.) This is a lovey card and I love the colours you have selected.

Thank you for joining in the celebrations at Crafty Boots Challenges.

Hi Susan, oh dear I feel like I should be introducing myself to you - it's been so long since I was here last!

Apologies and am hoping to get by everyone's blogs more regularly, otherwise I might just as well give up and get my coat now!!

Fabulous image, not sure I've got that Sassy - will have to go check - and a gorgeous card. Love the swirls and your colour choices.

Cheerio for now,
Sarah
