Butterfly Baby

A few weeks ago I was asked to make a card for a couple who were celebrating the arrival of their newly adopted daughter.  This is what I came up with. I think that perhaps the babygro is a little on the too dark side of **** but that's what happens when you don't do that colour. You don't really have the available pens to colour it in!

Challenges I'd Like to Enter

Stamps
Butterfly Baby - Saturated Canary

 Colouring Medium
Copics/Promarkers

Cardstock/Paper
From Stash

 Embellishments
Pearls, Flowers and Ribbon from stash
Liquid Pearls

 Tools
Label Nesties
Big Shot

Thanks for dropping by today. We're off to the Christmas party at the rugby club today. I'm going to be there on the cake stall and I am taking some cards along although I've done a Christmas fair before and sold nothing so I'm not holding out any hope of making my fortune!  Have a good Sunday.

Hugs. Susan xxx

Hi Susan, well I think it's lovely - and you've done the p**k wonderfully well. So soft and pretty and a gorgeous image.

Sorry it's been ages since I've been by, I do seem to be rather behind with commenting right now. I wonder if the holiday season coming up has anything to do with it!!

Hope you had a good weekend,
Sarah

PS - Thanks for the kind comment about Emily's reading, I'm just a little paranoid as I had a very bad time of it at school and don't want her to go through the same, I get worried that she's being overlooked and not encouraged there.

We had some sort of assessment result come home with her last week and it appears she should be on a Wsomething level at her age but she is a 1B/C for reading, maths and writing - we are very proud of her - even tho we don't really have much idea of what it actually means!!!!
