I Wanna Be A Superhero

Morning.

Writing the blog post title brought back memories of holidays when the boys were younger at Scarborough where the DJ used to play a song called I Wanna Be A Superhero all the time. Every. Night. 

Today's card features a small superhero... well, ish. Although according to Mr Incredible superheroes shouldn't wear capes so maybe he's not an actual SH.  

I made this card for a friend's wee boy who's birthday it was last weekend.  I used the MFT Superhero stamp and die and I've paper pieced all of his clothes. Such a fun colourful card to do.

After All This Time? Always.

Morning.

Isn't it cold?! Still, I'd rather have the cold than the pouring rain.

So today's card - which I put on last week as the card for today now takes on a different significance given the horrible week it's been. First of all David Bowie and then Alan Rickman, both particular favourites of mine, it's been a particularly sad week.

After the Harry Potter wedding card I was asked to make a birthday card, but this time with just Hermione and in a similar style to the wedding card. It's kind of the same but different.

A Hug of Bears

Morning.

I'm not sure if that is the collective name for bears. It should be though.

Continuing my clear out this is a card made almost a year ago when I went to a friend's for a crafty weekend. We each took a project for the others to do and the materials to do. This was one from one of the girls. A swing card maybe? Can't remember the technical term.
