Love to Create Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Love to Create

This week our theme is

Say it With Flowers

Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs.

I've used Latte Momma for my card which I cropped down, I've used some Barenaked lyrics as the sentiment and the flowers are punched from brown wrapping paper - saw a packet of kraft flowers in Poundland through the week but decided not to buy them and then I found a roll of brown wrapping paper in the cupboard I thought it would be good to use instead! And cheaper ;)

A Book at Bedtime

My, isn't this late...

I'm supposed to be finishing a card just now but I started watching an ep of Grey's and then I decided I'd do a wee blog post... think I'm putting off finishing the card?!

So this month's swap over at That Craft Place was another ATC with quite an extensive shopping list and you had to use at least 3 of the items on the list.

This is the list

Heat embossing
safety pin
dry embossing
3 layers
a single word
glitter
the colour yellow
vellum
zipper or zipper piece
a leaf shape
a butterfly
some colouring (any of pencil, copic, promarker etc)
spots
a mini envelope or book

And here's my ATC.  My items from the shopping list are spots, a book (well, the image is books and I've used part of a book...), a butterfly, colouring, a single word. And there are layers too, but there are more than 3 ;)

Another Day. Another Bear.

Hello.

How are you today? It's very dull here today which is so different from yesterday as it was a beautiful day yesterday.

Went to see Magnum last night with the lovely Cass. They were fabulous. Really good night!

So to today's card. Well, actually it was for an anniversary card at the start of April for my friend to give her husband. She likes a card with a bear on it and who am I to argue! This cutie Louie, from Digistamp Boutique came in the same set as the one I used with the banner. You know the **** one for Fee's God-daughter's birthday ;)

Hi Ho Silver

Morning all.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend so far and that someone somewhere is enjoying nice weather ;)

Good luck today to all the folk doing the Kiltwalk! Got a couple of friends doing it so hoping they survive the 23 miles.

So this is a card I made for my friend to give her son. He was 13 yesterday and is in Craig's year at school so I figured that if this Mo Manning image of Paul Typing would be ideal for Craig then it would also be perfect for Cameron!

Now, I know what you're thinking.... I was here last week with a Sweet Stampin' card. And I was, but this week I'm joining in with Team Abi. It was my Brother in Law's birthday on Sunday and I kind of forgot to make a card. However, this presented me with the opportunity to make a belated card.. so I meant it really ;)

The sentiment, which reads, Ted realised he'd have to check his diary on a more regular basis came courtesy of Abi during one of our conversations last week!
