Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is

Buttons and Bows With Polka Dots

Our sponsor this week are Crafty Ribbons  who are offering this fabby prize - isn't it gorgeous?

Our monthly sponsor is The Ribbon Girl who are offering a £10 voucher to the monthly winner.

Now this card came about quite by accident. I had been thinking hard about what I might do to try and combine buttons, bows and polka dots and was tying myself in all sorts of knots.  Then my friend asked me to make a birthday card (she hasn't actually seen this card yet) for her kids to give to their Granny. I decided to use this image as it was kinda quirky but still had flowers which was in my brief.

Once I was finished it I looked at it and realised that without actually even trying I had buttons, bows (well, one bow) and polka dots! How pleased was I?! Wish all cards were as easy ;)

I like this card and how you've done the flowers with the Candi is brilliant. I just got some different packages of the Candi and think it's a great embellie and this gives me an idea!
