I saw a Facebook post for a unicorn mum and I thought it would be a good idea so my plan was to use one of the Vera Lane Unicorn girls, then I decided she needed a glass of wine so I used Petite Syrah with a new head....

For the last few challenges over at Fezziwig's Festive Frolics, I've looked at the theme, had an idea and then the weeks have whizzed by and I've not made a card and not entered the challenge. I forgot I hadn't shared the card that eventually made the cut as my Valentine's card for Andy.

Pretty much every Saturday since the start of lockdown eleventy billion days ago I have made pizza for dinner.  It's got to be said, they have improved since those early days.  So when Vera Lane Studio brought out this set just before Valentine's day I knew I had to change my plans!

A Pot of Gold

Another share from the March release at Whimsy . This one is Shamrock Bear from Meljen's Designs.  I've made him a wee pot of gold using the smallest Pierced and Stitched circles die and I used my cropadile to get teeny circles for the gold.

Whimsy New Release Part 2

Hello. 

I'm back with another share from the new release time at Whimsy   this time using the Whale of a Time set by Crissy Armstrong.  I've used the dolphin but you also get a couple of whales in the set too.  I got out the gelli plate and some paints to make a background and used some bubble wrap to add texture.  I also used the lid of the paint for some bigger bubbles.  I wanted a bit of extra colour so some leftover stars from the Slimline stars die were perfect.

Whimsy New Release

Hello. 

It's new release time at Whimsy   so I have a card to share with you today.  I've used the fabulous Rocker Mae.  I've used the Slimline Stars die as a stencil (thought I'd bought stuff to make my own stencils recently but turns out I bought the wrong thing so I ended up just cutting it out with card and using washi tape to make sure it didn't move as I went over it with some distress oxides!
